Update: 3/29/13

OMG! 2 weeks to go and I've already passed my goal. Beloved Donors and Friends, you are amazing! and once again have demonstrated how much we can do collectively when we all chip in a little.

 

Now comes the competition. You may have noticed that my team is pretty small this year. And if you follow the rankings, you'll see that I've raised the second highest amount of money.

 

How about we go balls out and help me be the biggest fundraiser at this year's event in Eugene?! You with me?!  I knew you would be. Remember it's for a good cause: I'm gonna be #1! uh, no I' mean it's to help women succeed in living the lives of their dreams!

 

That's right, I'm raising money for abortion access, yet again... & guess what? the cost of a 1st trimester abortion has gone UP!

 

That's $500 that I have to raise this year just to cover the cost of one woman's procedure. So please donate whatever you can because those $5 & $10 donations add up fast.

 

If you wanted another reason to donate this year, I have to tell you that NRO (my local abortion fund) has been working hard this last year to build its capacity as not only a kick-ass abortion fund, but as a resource for reproductive health education AND to do advocacy work to ensure that Oregon remains the one, the only state that does not limit access to abortion through policy.

 

That's right folks: the biggest barrier to abortion access in Oregon is $$$ and you can do SO MUCH by doing just a little.
